A school visit consists of 2 parts.

A. Interactive presentation packed with visual aids.
‍The presentation will cover:
1. Ecosystem and pollination.
2. Honeybees, species, and biology.
3. Honeybees, hives, threats, and Asian hornet.
4. Build a hive model

B. Meeting the Bees Experience.
The pupils have an opportunity to see honeybees in an observation hive; a safe learning environment to watch and develop understanding about these amazing creatures. Children also have the opportunity to try a bee suit or vale protection and hold a smoker and hive tool. (Taking photos is very common)

We would like to express our sincere thanks to James and Jonny for delivering such an excellent and inspiring visit. The morning assembly was engaging and informative, capturing the children’s interest from the start and introducing them to the importance of bees in a clear and exciting way. They had thought of everything to engage the children throughout the day by also providing activities, which were well organised, age-appropriate, and thoughtfully planned, allowing all children to deepen their understanding. The outdoor workshops were a particular highlight; the opportunity for the children to look safely inside a real bee hive was both memorable and inspiring. James and Jonny explained concepts clearly, answered questions with enthusiasm. The visit sparked curiosity and meaningful discussions among the children and staff alike. We are extremely grateful for such a high-quality experience and would highly recommend their workshops to other schools.

We all very much enjoyed the day and learnt a lot. Our deputy head overheard boys telling their parents about how much fun it was, as they left school - fab!
