Beekeepers School Visits

J&J Pure Honey delivers engaging, interactive bee presentations for primary schools, giving pupils the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of honey bees and understand why these remarkable pollinators are so important to our environment.
Our presentations are designed with young learners in mind, making the subject interesting, accessible and memorable. With our presentations already reaching more than 8,000 children, we bring genuine beekeeping knowledge and enthusiasm directly into the school environment.

We visit schools throughout West London, Surrey and Berkshire, including Feltham, Hounslow, Hampton, Twickenham, Richmond, Teddington, Kingston upon Thames, Windsor, Slough, Staines-upon-Thames, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and surrounding areas.

We also provide visits for home education groups and educational organisations.

A school visit consists of 2 parts.

A. Interactive presentation packed with visual aids.
‍The presentation will cover:
1. Ecosystem and pollination.
2. Honeybees, species, and biology.
3. Honeybees, hives, threats, and Asian hornet.
4. Build a hive model

‍B. Meeting the Bees Experience.
The pupils have an opportunity to see honeybees in an observation hive; a safe learning environment to watch and develop understanding about these amazing creatures. Children also have the opportunity to try a bee suit or vale protection and hold a smoker and hive tool. (Taking photos is very common)
